Sales and service points for gasoline crossovers and Moskvich electric vehicles were opened in Sochi and Simferopol, reported on the capital automaker’s Telegram channel.
As Moscow Deputy Mayor Maxim Liksutov said, cars of the revived brand are already available for purchase in 25 cities of the Russian Federation. He noted that the Moskvich factory plans to produce 50 thousand cars this year, 8-10 thousand of which will be electric motors.
Now the company’s assortment includes the Moskvich 3 crossover and the Moskvich 3e electric car. Serial production of Moskvich 6 cars is scheduled to begin in July-August 2023, said General Director of the Moskvich Automobile Plant Dmitry Pronin.
Previously reportedthat deputy Vitaly Milonov called for the abandonment of the Latin alphabet on behalf of automobile companies and the return of the Zhiguli brand.
