Kaiyi has brought to Russia two new compact crossovers planned for production at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad. The presentation of the X3 and X3 Pro models took place in Moscow.
Kaiyi’s new products are similar in size to the Kia Seltos model that Russians are familiar with. Kaiyi X3 and X3 Pro have a length of 4000 mm and a wheelbase of 2632 mm.

The Kaiyi X3 has a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine (116 hp), while the X3 Pro has a 1.5L turbo engine with 147 hp. Both engines work together with the variator.
Outwardly, both crossovers differ in front-end design (with a split radiator grille for the X3 Pro) and different bumpers, while inside the X3 the digital instrument cluster and multimedia displays are visually combined into a single screen, unlike the X3 Pro. .

In 2023, the Kaiyi lineup is also planned to be renewed with the X7 Kunlun mid-size crossover. It received a 2.0-liter turbo engine producing 249 hp.
