Cars with automatic transmissions are almost sold out in Lada showrooms. This happened due to a disruption in the supply chains of automotive components to AvtoVAZ. This was reported to the socialbites.ca correspondent by representatives of the official dealers of AvtoVAZ.
“There are no automatic cars and never will be. This will take a year, maybe two years. I am 99% sure that in a few months you will not find an “automatic” Lada, – said the manager of one of the Lada dealerships.
Lada cars with automatic transmission make up one-tenth of all cars sold by AvtoVAZ.
Now automatic transmissions are installed on the Granta, Granta Cross, Vesta, XRay and XRay Cross models. Models are equipped with a Jatco 4-speed automatic transmission, a variator from the same manufacturer and an automatic manual transmission based on a 5-speed mechanics.
