In the spring there was a sharp rise in the cost price of cars, which, despite the sharp fall in the market (-59%), ultimately influenced the end result of the weighted average price.
In 2021, the average price for a car will reach almost 2 million rubles. And in 2014 it was at the level of 1 million rubles.

In 2015 and 2021 there was a similar strong increase in the weighted average price of a new car (20% and 18% respectively), but from 2016 to 2020 it was always less than 10%.
Analysts calculate the weighted average price based on the average values of the prices recommended by the distributor and the sales volumes for each model, taking into account changes (engine size, powertrain, transmission, body).
