And those are often striking names that are very suitable for combat vehicles. The commander of the tank unit with the call sign “Artsakh” told how he calls his tanks. By the way, recently he was awarded the medal “For Courage” from the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
“You have to look at the tank: check the oil level, check the pressure level. We come up with names for them – I have tanks “Hunter”, “Shark”. People themselves give call signs to equipment,” RIA Novosti quotes the commander.
That is, such names were given to the tanks of the unit not by Artsakh himself, but by his colleagues who take care of the equipment. She “responds” to such care and does not fail in battle, saving the crews.
At the moment, different models of tanks are fighting in the NWO zone.
This is also the “workhorse” T-72B3M, which in 2016 underwent a thorough modernization – it turned out to be much better than the modernization of the Polish RT-91 tank, also created on the basis of the T-72.
Also in the ranks is the T-80BVM with a low silhouette, maneuverable and well protected, with a 1250 hp engine. This tank was called jet and fly.
The T-90M “Breakthrough” and “Terminator” tanks are a particular danger to the enemy. Also in service with the military is the Vepr, an armored mine clearance vehicle. She is not afraid of mines and can carry up to three sappers in addition to the crew.
