Chery has received Russian Vehicle Type Approval (OTTS) for the Arrizo 5 Plus (6 Pro) sedan. to report “Automobile news of the day”.
The note states that in Russia the car will be offered under the name Omoda S5 with a 1.5-liter petrol engine (113 hp; 138 Nm) and a CVT.
It is noted that the dimensions of the certified sedan differ from the Arrizo 5 Plus (6 Pro) – the Russian model is several centimeters shorter in length and width (according to the documents, its length is 4644 mm, width – 1814 mm, and height – 1493 mm, wheelbase 2650 mm). The sedan has MacPherson struts at the front and a torsion beam at the rear.
The equipment list includes ABS system, ERA-GLONASS, tire pressure sensors, manual or automatic controlled climate control, airbags, audio system, power windows, sunroof, heated steering wheel, windshield, mirrors and seats, parking sensors, engine start. button, keyless entry, wireless smartphone charging, cruise control and more.
Now the Omoda brand is represented in Russia only by the C5 crossover, which has been on sale since October last year and costs 2.43 million rubles.
Earlier, in a conversation with Omoda representative socialbites.ca announced launch of a business sedan and an all-electric crossover. The premiere of one of these models could take place at the same time as the presentation in China.
