AvtoVAZ, which will soon take over the former Nissan plant in St. Petersburg, is ready to offer the facilities of this enterprise for the assembly of the E-Neva C-class electric crossover developed by Almaz-Antey. The source reports this with reference to a representative of AVTOVAZ.
It should be noted that AVTOVAZ President Maxim Sokolov said earlier in January that the plant was ready to consider E-Neva production in St. Petersburg as a partner project.
E-Neva was patented just over a year ago. This is intended to be a whole family of electric vehicles. In January 2023, an experimental sample was shown to Putin, and the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Manturov, compared E-Neva to Tesla.
