Chinese rival Jimny – no two will be the same

We already wrote about this new Baojun model, which will be called Wuling City Play or Urban Fun Trendy SUV. But then little was known about the SUV, besides the fact that it is similar in size to Suzuki Jimny and it will have 8 headlights – four individual LEDs on each side.

Now photos of road tests of new items and a teaser photo of the car from the side have appeared on the Web.

Judging by the spy photos, the headlights of the novelty turned out to be daytime running lights, between which real low-beam and high-beam lamps are hidden.

In addition, the radiator grille has no slots and nets, which means that we have an electric SUV. Judging by the photo, the tailgate of the car opens to the side.

Viewed from the side, it’s hard not to notice the car’s large wheel arches with puffy liners and huge sills. Designers gave the car a tough appearance, although in fact it is a subcompact city car.

What’s really interesting about this car is its style. In the photo we see the car in stock. The buyer can choose not only the color of the body from dozens of offered, but also several styling options. As a result, all Baojun sold will differ from each other.

Unfortunately, neither the engine power nor the power reserve of the electric SUV, nor the equipment level are known. But it must be assumed that leaks of this information will occur gradually.
