So the car with the most US and Canadian parts in 2022 was the Lincoln Corsair – 86 points. That is, 72% of the units, assemblies and components are produced in the US and Canada. Such figures are given by the annual Made in America Auto Index ranking of the American University Kogod Business School.
Last year’s leader, the Ford Mustang GT (with manual transmission), dropped to 22nd place with a score of 50% due to the introduction of a Mexican gearbox. And 22nd place is lower than the places occupied this year by Kia Sorento, Mercedes-Benz GLE and Lexus ES.
