In China, hundreds of cars crashed on one of the bridges, one person died, dozens were injured. The video shows a huge number of crushed cars, in some cases lying on top of each other.
The traffic police estimated that 280–290 vehicles were involved in the accident. People got out of vehicles to warn other motorists from the verge of the danger looming on the bridge.
The accident occurred due to dense fog, in which drivers simply did not have time to see what was ahead of them. In 2018, a similar accident occurred in Henan province, killing nine people and injuring 18 others.
