The Kaliningrad company Avtotor has long been intriguing with the creation of its own car, without giving any details. It was assumed along the jagged track that it would be a modified model from one of the Chinese brands, but the leaked information no longer gives complete confidence in that.
The Amber DLB Telegram channel has published images of the factory presentation of the new car.
They are accompanied by the following text:
“A friend works at Avtotor, he said that an electric car for young people is being made there with might and main. They even gathered young workers and showed them what they had already developed. They even offered to send their own variations of the name. For now, the working title is Yantar. They can’t think of anything more original, apparently))). Although “Yantar”, maybe nothing – Kalovchan is like that, dear.
The images show a small electric city car with different design options. The weight of the body is 106 kg according to the presentation, it is claimed to be 79% recyclable. The largest shares in the cost of an electric vehicle are the traction battery – 37% and the body – 21%.
“The car was created using the Russian component base”says the presentation. So it turns out that this is a Russian development.
There is still no official statement from the manufacturer.
