The sliding of all four damaged spans of the road section of the Crimean bridge, each weighing 300 tons, was completed on November 19 and asphalt concrete was laid at the end of last month.
The work had to be carried out in difficult conditions – 22 of the 56 days were storms that hindered the work. The bridge was repaired by 500 people around the clock. There were 3 floating cranes, 4 barges and 31 attachments involved.
“Today, together with President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, we drove on the right lane of the Crimean bridge that had been restored after the terrorist attack. 4 rafters replaced.
All metal structures from Voronezh, Kurgan and Tyumen, that is, 1214 tons, were quickly delivered to the site, accompanied by the traffic police, and the builders quickly completed repairs in record time in 56 days, although usually such work can take six months to a years,” reported Telegram channel Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
Vladimir Putin, while driving a car on the Crimean bridge Khusnullin, ordered to bring the left side of the bridge, also damaged in the terrorist attack, but in working order, to “perfect condition”.
During the visit, Putin spoke with workers carrying out work on the bridge, and noted the importance of the country road connecting Crimea with the rest of Russia.
The head of state chose a Mercedes-Benz sedan for the trip and moved at a speed of 60-80 kilometers per hour.

A truck exploded, several people died, the fuel tanks of the train caught fire, two spans of the two-lane section of the road leading from Krasnodar to Kerch collapsed.
