“At the moment, the possibility of assembling cars of classes C and D, together with partners from friendly countries, is being discussed at one of the locations, which may include Izhevsk,” he said.
The names of partner companies have not yet been announced.
At the same time, Sokolov recalled that Renault retains the right to buy back shares for six years, so AvtoVAZ is not considering partnership options based on the sale of shares.
