For some cars imported from abroad, dealers offer a warranty that adds an impressive amount to the cost of the car, Yang Heitzeer, vice president of the National Automobile Association (NAU).

There is no complete confidence that the seller will fulfill all warranty obligations for a car that is rare in the Russian market.

For this reason, Haytseher warned that caution should be exercised when purchasing such a machine and that the provisions of the warranty contract should be discussed with a lawyer.

“Cars from the Emirates may have a different VIN, which cannot be read by a Russian dealer. Another difficulty is that dealers’ diagnostic equipment cannot be adapted to new cars of the 2021 and 2022 model years,” summarized the expert.
