It’s hard to imagine anyone looking at a dump truck thinking, “I wish I could live in it!”. But apparently it was. This GMC C7500 in the video below used to be a dump truck and snow blower.
This campervan was made by Ray and Trevor and it took several months to build. And yes, an RV is specifically made for traveling through Alaska. Hence the equipment.
Inside there is a wood-burning stove, which is needed in case the more modern heating system breaks down or when the efforts of the modern system to heat the room will not be enough. There is also a water tank and plumbing that are in the “room” and will not freeze.
Other amenities include a double bed, a small closet, a full bathroom with a dry closet and shower, and a large kitchen with a three-burner stove. The fridge and freezer are hidden and slide out from under the counter. There is even a chic hammock chair where you can lounge in.
Other features include air conditioning and a 1,850 watt solar panel on the roof, increased ground clearance and four-wheel drive, and a 44,500 lumen “chandelier” above the cab. Hidden in the outer compartments are two separate propane tanks, which are needed not only for the stove, but also for heating water.
Attached to the rear of the RV is a trailer, a mobile garage that stores motorcycles and a variety of gear including chainsaws, welding equipment, tools and more.
