An ordinary person cannot buy a seat on the throne, but it is quite possible to sit in the driver’s seat of the deceased queen. Jaguar X-Type Estate, owned by Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, is up for auction by English auction house Historics Auctioners.
Auctioneers do not set a starting price for a car. He goes for the highest bid at the auction.
The car was released in 2009. Elizabeth II used it until the spring of 2022. She herself drove this Jaguar in Emerald Fire (dark green metallic), according to the Daily Mail.
Under the hood is a 3.0-litre V6 engine, the largest and most powerful in the line-up. The mileage of the car is 72.5 thousand miles (117 thousand km).
