Chinese automaker Xpeng has released interior images of its upcoming X9 minivan. Pre sales are expected to start at the Guangzhou Auto Show, which opens on November 17. This detail comes from reports on carnewschina.com.
From the photos, the X9 features a two spoke steering wheel with a flat bottom and a small Xpeng emblem. The gear selector is mounted on the steering column. A standout element on the center console is a very large touchscreen; the exact diagonal remains unannounced, but it is larger than the display in Xpeng’s G6 SUV. The cabin is configurable to seat six or seven passengers, depending on the trim chosen.
The X9 marks the seventh model in Xpeng’s lineup. Overall length is measured at 5293 millimeters with a wheelbase of 3160 millimeters. The base variant uses a single electric motor on the front axle delivering up to 320 horsepower. A dual motor, all wheel drive version ups the output to 503 horsepower. Top speed for both configurations is electronically limited to 200 kilometers per hour.
Xpeng has outlined an aggressive product cadence, aiming to introduce five additional models by 2025. The planned arrivals include the G7 SUV, the F57 and F59 sedans, the F61 crossover, and the E29 coupe. Most of these new models are expected to feature electric powertrains with driving ranges typically estimated between 500 and 800 kilometers depending on the configuration. These projections align with Xpeng’s ongoing push toward broader electrification and modern connected features across its range.
Earlier industry coverage noted that Changan has released official photos of the Qiyuan Q05 crossover, illustrating the kind of market competition and design language unfolding in the same space as Xpeng’s forthcoming products. [Source: carnewschina.com] [Changan Qiyuan Q05 coverage]
