The core focus of the test is to compare tires from different price brackets. Eight sets of winter tires were assessed. The study included both top-tier options like the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 10P SUV and more affordable choices such as Viatti Bosco Nordico and Tigar SUV Ice, priced at about 7,500 and 11,000 rubles respectively, along with the domestic Yokohama iceGuard iG worth under 15,000 rubles, roughly 65 rubles cheaper.

These Russian tires surprised with strong braking on dry pavement and a comfortable ride overall. They hold a steady line on asphalt and deliver solid handling on snowy and icy surfaces.

However, they exhibit weak grip on ice and longer stopping distances on wet roads. They also show the highest rolling resistance among the tested tires.

These Serbian tires demonstrated notable advantages, particularly in braking on asphalt. They maintain a straight course on asphalt and offer respectable off-road traction. They also contribute to a smoother driving feel for the crossover.

These tires deliver strong lateral grip and good acceleration on ice. They also provide solid cross-country ability and stable tracking on various surfaces.
