Dealers in China have begun selling the Passion hybrid sedan from Voyah, as reported by carnewschina.com. Until now, the model was offered only with electric propulsion. The shift to a hybrid powertrain marks a notable expansion of Voyah’s lineup in the Chinese market.
The hybrid variant offers a remarkable range, able to cover up to 1227 km in combined driving mode and up to 262 km on electric power alone. Its propulsion system centers on a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that acts as a generator to recharge the traction battery, while the sedan is driven by two electric motors, one on each axle. The total output reaches 530 horsepower, delivering strong performance across the drivetrain configuration.
Inside, the Passion hybrid comes equipped with an adaptive suspension, rear-seat footrests for passenger comfort, ventilation, and amenities such as seat massage and heating, contributing to a more premium ride experience. In China, the vehicle is priced at 252.8 thousand yuan, equivalent to about 3.3 million rubles at the exchange rate prevailing at the time of publication.
