VinFast outlined pricing for its VF 8 and VF 9 electric crossovers, aiming at buyers in North America and Europe. The company intends to start deliveries in the second half of 2022, marking a clear move beyond its home market and signaling its entry into the fast-growing electric SUV segment.
The VF 8 Eco configuration delivers an official range of 420 to 471 kilometers depending on the battery option, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The Eco VF 8 begins at 43,050 euros, roughly 3.13 million rubles. The VF 8 Plus offers a 400 to 447 kilometer range, reaches 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, and starts at 43,350 euros, about 3.7 million rubles.
In media imagery, the VF 8 tends to appear in the background while the VF 9 takes center stage, showcasing VinFast’s design language for the larger model.
The VF 9 is available in Eco and Plus trims with two battery configurations. The first option provides a 423 to 438 kilometer range and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in about 7.5 seconds. The second configuration extends its range to 580 to 594 kilometers while achieving 0–100 km/h in roughly 6.5 seconds. The VF 9 Eco is priced from 58,700 euros (about 4.3 million rubles), and the VF 9 Plus starts at 64,100 euros (approximately 4.65 million rubles).
VinFast has signaled plans to bring its vehicles to the Russian market, though an exact launch date was not confirmed, with forecasts suggesting 2023 in official communications from VinFast in 2022.
