The UAZ van descended a mountain road in Altai and ended up overturned, according to a report from the Telegraph channel “The Barnaul Incident.” The incident occurred in the Ust-Koksinsky district near the village of Bashtala, where a 25-year-old local who did not have a valid driving license was behind the wheel of a UAZ 2206. While attempting to navigate the pass, the driver lost control, the vehicle toppled, and it tipped over. The crash was captured in video, which appears to show chains attached to the van’s front wheels to aid uphill movement. The driver sustained injuries of varying severity and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. A passenger who jumped from the vehicle as it rolled downhill also suffered injuries.

In a separate report, the Leningrad region saw a confrontation where immigrants attacked a driver after an exchange that occurred on the road. The assailants struck the driver and hurled a brick at his vehicle.
