The Xturismo hoverbike has been customized to operate effectively in the harsh conditions of the desert. It is capable of reaching altitudes of up to 20 meters and can stay airborne for as long as forty minutes without the need for refueling or recharging. This endurance makes it a practical tool for operations that require quick, elevated observation over arid terrain where traditional vehicles face limits.

Developed in partnership with Bayanat and the Japanese firm Aerwins Technologies, the project emphasizes the hoverbike’s role in challenging environments. The collaborators highlight its suitability for missions that demand rapid deployment in adverse weather or uneven landscapes. In this context, the hoverbike is envisioned mainly for search and rescue, casualty evacuation, and law enforcement tasks. Additional potential applications are identified for sectors such as energy exploration and heavy industry, including oil and gas, along with construction projects where access to confined or rugged sites is essential.

Xturismo is built from high strength carbon fiber, a material commonly used in aerospace for its lightweight yet durable properties. The machine weighs approximately 300 kilograms and is powered by a four-stroke turbocharged Kawasaki racing petrol engine. The combination of lightweight construction and a robust propulsion system supports reliable performance in demanding environments, aligning with the needs of professional operators who require both agility and resilience in the field.

Tests of the Xturismo have been successfully completed in Japan, demonstrating the vehicle’s capabilities under varied conditions. Plans call for production to be established in the United Arab Emirates, with further optimization to tailor the model to local climate and terrain. Although the price point for the flying model has not been disclosed, the project positions the hoverbike as a premium option for specialized aviation-adjacent tasks, where traditional aircraft may be impractical or cost-prohibitive.
