In Tyumen, a vehicle turned over into a ditch that had been dug by road workers along the highway. This incident was reported through the regional traffic police Telegram channel.

The crash happened in the early hours at the intersection of Kharkovskaya and Odesskaya streets.

Both the 62-year-old driver and the passenger escaped without injuries, according to a statement from the traffic police. The officers noted that the driver had ignored warning signs for road work and failed to safely change lanes at the last moment.

On scene photographs show a Daewoo Nexia lying on its side in a deep trench, with its wheels nearly level with the ground. The driver reportedly avoided striking capped reinforced concrete structures placed in the ditch.

Earlier, in Yekaterinburg, 15 traffic police teams pursued a suspect driving a Nissan. In another report, a bus passenger in St. Petersburg fainted as a door window failed to open for an exit.
