A vehicle carrying two occupants plunged from a 15-meter cliff into the Simferopol reservoir. This was confirmed by the press service of the Crimea Emergencies Ministry and reported by RIA Novosti. Both the driver and the passenger managed to escape the sinking car and were raised to safety before rescuers reached the scene.
According to sources, the two individuals did not require medical treatment at the moment. At the police request, Krym-Spas operators used climbing gear and protective clothing to access the vehicle, retrieve the occupants’ documents and personal belongings, and then return them to law enforcement authorities once they secured the scene.
