In the city of Ivanovo, a car struck a woman and a seven-year-old girl as they crossed a pedestrian crossing at an intersection and then fled the scene. The incident was reported by the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs via its information channels. The collision happened on Friday, September 1, at approximately 21:00 on General Khlebnikov Street.

The driver, operating a VAZ 21013, collided with the mother and her young daughter as they were crossing. Both victims sustained injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver fled the area after the crash, but law enforcement later located the vehicle abandoned and burned. Investigators are expected to make a procedural decision soon as they continue collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses.

Authorities stated that efforts are underway to identify and locate the owner of the vehicle involved in the incident.

On the same day, reports indicated that 11 people died in Yekaterinburg when a passenger bus struck a pole. All those injured were transported to hospitals for medical care.

In another report, a taxi passenger window incident occurred when a child was ejected during a collision with a minibus in Saint Petersburg, at the intersection of Savushkina and Touristskaya streets.

Earlier, a 44-seat passenger bus collapsed on the roadside in Primorye, drawing attention to regional road safety concerns and the ongoing need for transport oversight across the country.
