During a month of activity, traffic police units conducted checks on 2162 cars, leading to 48 vehicles being detained and placed in guarded parking facilities.

In addition, 64 individuals were brought to the attention of law enforcement for gross administrative violations. Among these, ten were suspected of criminal activity connected to drug trafficking and distribution.

According to a September report from Kherson region authorities, the inspection on September 14 revealed that one of the drivers possessed 32 bundles each containing 0.5 grams of a narcotic substance known as salt. These substances were found with intent to offload them into smaller lots for sale. Four civilians were detained on suspicion of activities related to altering vehicle identification numbers and falsifying accompanying documents, according to a summary released to news channels.

Throughout the month, a total of 751 administrative offenses were identified by the traffic police, and 42 individuals were taken into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol or other impairing substances.

Special emphasis has been placed on preventing traffic incidents involving minors within the Kherson region. Initiatives focus on the safe transport of children, proper use of pedestrian crossings, and the development of clear, secure routes that families can follow when traveling to educational institutions. Training programs are also being implemented to teach children how to behave safely on the road and to reinforce responsible road habits among parents and guardians. This multi-pronged approach seeks to reduce risk and promote safer travel for students and their families while they navigate daily commutes to schools and other activities.
