The moment of impact involved a tangential collision with the truck, and the bus subsequently veered off the road and rolled into a ditch.
The collision proved deadly for the taxi driver inside the Iveco at the scene. Six passengers sustained injuries of varying severity. It is not yet clear whether the KamAZ operator was harmed in the incident, according to initial reports.
Authorities attributed the primary cause to the KamAZ manipulator being extended while the vehicle was in motion. The bus struck the extended mechanism, culminating in the ditching of the Iveco.
