Recent data from Volkswagen Group Rus, the Russian distributor, shows that the last officially imported Touareg SUVs have sold out at official Volkswagen dealerships in the Moscow region. This update was confirmed to a correspondent from socialbites.ca by the company’s official dealers.
The Atlant-M dealership in Moscow reported that official Volkswagen Touareg SUVs have long been out of stock. They did note, however, that customers can still consider alternatives: cars imported from Europe unofficially are available at prices ranging from 8 to 8.5 million rubles.
The Rolf South car dealership indicated that the Touareg is not currently available at the Moscow showroom, but they can arrange delivery from the central warehouse within a week, provided prepayment is made.
According to a dealership manager, only five cars remain and legal entities are moving quickly to secure them, signaling tight supply. The manager suggested accelerating the purchase, and one option discussed was acquiring a vehicle from remaining stock for 9.1 to 9.3 million rubles.
Official data from Volkswagen Group Rus show that just 21 SUVs of this model were left in various regions of Russia, priced between 9.2 and 15.1 million rubles. The available units feature 2.0 TDI diesel engines producing 249 horsepower and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The distribution of remaining vehicles included locations such as Touareg, Voronezh, Krasnodar, Orenburg, Samara, and Penza. [Cited from Volkswagen Group Rus]
