Three-vehicle crash in Krasnodar shuts down a traffic light for repairs

In Krasnodar, at the junction of Budyonny Street and Levanevsky Street, a collision involving three cars occurred, with one vehicle damaging a private residential building after losing control. The incident happened while the traffic light at the intersection was out of service for maintenance work. This information was reported by the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs through its Telegram channel.

Preliminary details indicate that a Ford driver born in 1984 was traveling along Levanevsky Street from Long Street toward Severnaya. The Ford reportedly collided with a Mercedes-Benz that was moving along Budyonny Street at the intersection, according to the police report.

On impact, the Mercedes-Benz veered off the roadway and struck a house, while the Ford collided with a passing Toyota. Two people sustained injuries in the crash: an eight-year-old Ford driver and a 22-year-old Mercedes driver. The condition of the injured parties was reported as stable at the scene, with emergency responders providing medical assistance and transporting those in need to nearby hospitals for further evaluation.

Earlier in the day, a Mercedes-Benz traveling near Kislovodsk allegedly struck a board belonging to a Gazelle bus returning to the stop, which did not yield as required. Investigators are reviewing dashcam footage and traffic camera records to determine the sequence of events and identify any contributing factors, including road conditions, driver behavior, and the state of traffic control equipment at the time of the incident.

Authorities emphasized the importance of maintaining caution at intersections when traffic lights are out of service. Road users are urged to slow down, increase following distances, and follow the directions of traffic police or on-site safety personnel when available. Investigations are ongoing, and updates will be released by the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs as new information becomes available.
