The body of the late blogger known as MotoTanya, Tatyana Ozolina, will be cremated in Moscow on Sunday, July 28, according to a Telegram channel called Omsk News, which cited information from her father.
The plan is to hold a farewell gathering in a hall that has not yet been disclosed. The intention is to honor Tanya, with her common-law partner Stas coordinating the arrangements. Tanya’s brother, who traveled from abroad to assist with the logistics, is also involved. The farewell is scheduled for Sunday.
Officials say the funeral will take place in the small hometown of Tara, where Tanya spent part of her life.
The fatal crash occurred near Sarıçay village on the highway between Seke and Milas. The incident involved a Turkish cyclist named Onur Obut, who struck the motorcycle from behind. The impact sent the bike tumbling, and the rider was projected about 26 meters. The force of the collision caused Tanya’s helmet to come off during the crash.
A criminal investigation has been opened in relation to the accident. The Turkish cyclist could face up to six years in prison under local law, with authorities reporting that he was sober at the time of the collision, based on medical tests.
MotoTani’s YouTube channel has drawn a large audience, with millions of subscribers. Her content focused on women’s motorcycle journeys, often filmed during trips in Turkey where she traveled with a devoted follower.
