A serious incident involving a rideshare driver who allegedly drove a stolen car into a residential building has been reported, with speeds reaching up to 145 km/h before the crash, according to a Telegram channel named Baza.

According to the report, just after midnight a small group of young people managed to rent a Nissan using another person’s account tied to a 27-year-old woman. The same group allegedly rode bicycles in the local area for roughly an hour. The Nissan Qashqai is said to have started at a low speed, but a 15-year-old boy seated in the back allegedly pressed the accelerator, sending the car to 145 km/h.

The vehicle eventually lost control and overturned. The teen attempting to brake could not prevent the crash, and the car struck a nearby house. One of the young passengers did not survive, while three others were transported to a hospital. The driver reportedly fled the scene.

Officials identified the driver only as “TBC” in a Telegram channel associated with the Moscow Prosecutor’s Office. The ministry confirmed that the teenager involved was 15 years old.

Earlier reports from Kaluga mentioned a separate incident linked to shots fired in response to a comment circulating on a local circle or forum.
