Sales of the Chinese premium SUV Tank 300 kicked off in Russia on March 15, according to an official statement. Buyers can place orders either through the online store or at authorized dealerships, making the model accessible through multiple channels.

The Tank 300 is powered by a two-liter turbocharged inline four engine delivering about two hundred twenty horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Torque sits around four hundred eighty newton-meters, ensuring robust acceleration and confident highway overtakes. The setup prioritizes a smooth, refined driving experience suitable for both city commutes and longer trips.

Pricing for the Tank 300 starts at approximately three million six hundred ninety-nine thousand rubles, with a more feature-rich adventure package priced around four million forty-nine thousand rubles. A premium package is also offered for buyers seeking additional comfort and technology. Standard equipment across the lineup includes seventeen-inch wheels, a twelve-point-three-inch digital dashboard, a sunroof, a protective engine guard, heated front and rear seats, adaptive cruise control, dual-zone climate control, LED headlamps, and a rear differential lock. In the top-tier configuration, the vehicle adds a protective gearbox shield and a front differential lock for enhanced off-road capability.

Reports noted that by April 12, orders had begun for Tank 500, the larger chassis cousin in the same family. The Tank 500 features a three-liter engine delivering roughly three hundred horsepower and is coupled to a nine-speed automatic transmission. This model targets buyers looking for greater payload capacity and enhanced on and off-road performance.

In the Russian market, the Tank 500 will be available in two trims: Adventure and Premium. The Adventure trim is priced at just over five million rubles, while the Premium trim carries a price around five million six hundred ninety-nine thousand rubles. The standard configuration includes features such as three-zone climate control, automatic high beam assist, and power-adjustable seats. The higher-end configuration expands comfort with rear passenger curtains, upgraded sound insulation, and a panoramic roof that enhances perceived space and light inside the cabin.

Earlier reports also covered a new version of the Chery Jetour X70 Plus crossover. This model stands out with additional safety options, distinctive styling, and a price around ninety-seven thousand nine hundred yuan, which translates to about one million rubles in the current exchange rate, signaling competition in the same fast-growing segment within the Chinese automotive lineup.
