Survey reveals Russians prefer airbags in domestic cars

The survey results collected by the Drome portal highlight a clear preference among Russians for equipping domestically produced cars with airbags. Across a sampling of 11,000 respondents from 80 regions, the data show that a substantial majority values this safety feature highly. Specifically, 61 percent of those surveyed indicated they would definitely avoid purchasing a car that lacks airbags, signaling a strong demand for active protection in daily driving. About one third of participants, 31 percent, view airbags as important enough to consider a vehicle that does not include them only if there is no alternative. A smaller portion, eight percent, expressed no concern about airbags in their vehicle choices.
