The government has maintained its program of state assistance for car buyers, continuing the subsidy into the current year with some terms adjusted. The changes influence the range of eligible vehicles and the specifics of the loan support, shaping how buyers access affordable new cars.
Eligible models under the program include the UAZ, Lada, and GAZ lineups, as well as the Haval Jolion SUVs assembled in the Tula region. There is also speculation that the subsidized loan could facilitate the purchase of Evolute electric cars, expanding the scope of electrified options available to consumers.
In the current period, several new models have been added to the program’s list, widening choices for buyers who want government-backed assistance. Among them is the Moskvich 3 crossover with a manual transmission, priced at or below two million rubles. The all-electric Moskvich 3 is also included in the subsidy framework, appealing to those prioritizing zero-emission driving options.
Additionally, the new Lada Vesta NG is expected to join the program, with estimates suggesting a price tag under two million rubles. There is also chatter about upcoming Lada crossovers and sedans in the C and D classes that AVTOVAZ plans to manufacture at the former Nissan plant, potentially with price points around two million rubles.
