A sequence of events in St. Petersburg involved a stolen Gazelle pickup and a rapid police pursuit that drew online attention after a video surfaced showing the chase. The incident was reported on the Telegram channel Mash on the Moika, noting that it happened the night before the post appeared.

In Kolpino, on Balkanskaya Street, a vehicle theft triggered a full response from external police units as they searched for the stolen truck. The suspect, attempting to outrun authorities, steered toward Sobornaya in a bid to escape. He reportedly collided with four vehicles on Zagorodnaya Street and later crashed into a passing Belgee, all while continuing the flight from law enforcement, according to the channel’s account.

Witnesses and official updates indicate that the driver ignored all police requests to stop. As a result, officers were compelled to discharge firearm rounds at the vehicle’s tires to halt the pursuit. The vehicle, identified as a Gazelle, was operated by a 36-year-old resident of Kolpino, who could face criminal charges as investigators assess the case.

Earlier, in the Sverdlovsk region’s Novouralsk, a traffic police patrol team encountered danger during a pursuit involving a motorcycle carrying two children. Reports state that the children and rider were involved in a collision that left the kids on the asphalt while the patrol vehicle halted nearby. An ambulance was summoned to the scene, and medical responders attended to the occupants and the rider after the incident near the roadway.

Subsequently, it was learned that the father of the two children injured in the Novouralsk incident planned to file a formal complaint with both the prosecutor’s office and the Investigation Commission, seeking answers and accountability for the events that unfolded during the chase and its aftermath.
