Several drivers outran the courier and seized his belongings in St. Petersburg, according to Fountain.

The report notes that the delivery service courier argued with a driver near the intersection of Mechnikov and Piskarevsky streets. After the dispute, the driver blocked the courier’s path, and other motorists rushed to assist the aggressor.

The 26-year-old migrant courier later told police that three men threatened him with a knife and stole three smartphones, including an iPhone, a wristwatch, and a car sun visor. Neighborhood police issued a preventative alert, but the suspects remain at large.
