Brand representatives stated that sales of the Skywell HT-i hybrid mid-size crossover in Russia are set to begin by the end of June. The model will be offered in three trim levels, and final pricing will be revealed as the launch approaches.

Powered by a plug-in hybrid system developed in collaboration with BYD, the Skywell HT-i can travel up to 1267 km on a full tank and a charged battery. The crossover measures 4720 mm in length, 1908 mm in width, and 1701 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2800 mm.

The powertrain combines a 1.5-liter atmospheric gasoline engine delivering 103 horsepower with an electric motor producing 177 horsepower. Acceleration to 100 km/h in the base configuration is 7.9 seconds, while the top speed reaches 170 km/h.

In Comfort and Premium trims, the vehicle uses a 21.7 kWh lithium-ion battery, while the Luxury trim features a larger 32.8 kWh pack. With the smaller battery, the electric range is 81 km according to WLTP, and with the larger pack it extends to 145 km. Fuel economy is quoted at 0.8 liters per 100 km on a full battery, 5.85 liters per 100 km with a discharged battery, and around 6.1 liters depending on the configuration.

Earlier reports noted that Skywell began selling the ET5 electric crossover in Russia in a new configuration, which has become the most expensive in the lineup at 5.05 million rubles.
