The second generation Skoda Kodiaq made its world debut in Berlin, as reported by the automaker’s press service. The reveal marked a new chapter for the crossover, confirming both design updates and a continued focus on practicality for families and versatile use.

The overall length of the crossover increased by 61 mm, bringing the total to 4758 mm. As with the previous generation, the new Kodiaq is offered in two configurations to suit different seating needs: five seats or seven seats. A choice of five engines is available, with output ranging from 150 hp to 204 hp. The 150 hp option includes a 2.0-liter turbodiesel, while front-drive variants are equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine delivering the same 150 hp, ensuring efficient performance for everyday driving.

For customers opting for all-wheel drive, the lineup adds a 204 hp petrol turbo engine and a 2.0-liter diesel engine rated at 193 hp. A DSG dual-clutch transmission is paired with all versions, supporting smooth shifts across varying conditions and loads. A plug-in hybrid version also joins the range, built on the 1.5-liter petrol turbo platform and delivering a combined output of 204 hp, offering an electrified option without compromising on space or practicality.

The interior highlights include a 13-inch media system screen that provides modern connectivity and infotainment capabilities. The climate control system features rotary knobs with programmable displays, enhancing ease of use for both drivers and passengers. Availability of the new Skoda Kodiaq in Europe was announced for early 2024, signaling a strategic rollout across key markets and aligning with Skoda’s broader SUV lineup refresh.

Earlier, AvtoVAZ announced on its official website the possibility of purchasing cars at factory prices, indicating ongoing pricing and distribution updates across different regions. This contextual note underscores how automakers communicate value and availability to interested buyers while they prepare to meet regional demand across Europe and other markets.
