Initial information indicates that the driver of the Ural heavy truck collided with two Hyundai cars due to brake system failure. The impact caused the truck to strike two parked vehicles, a FAW and a Ford. After veering, the truck rolled onto General Zakharov Square and collided with three additional vehicles. It continued to hit a person riding a scooter, followed by another parked car and a trolleybus, the statement noted.

The scooter rider died at the scene. Police are actively investigating the circumstances and factors surrounding the tragedy, reviewing vehicle mechanics, road conditions, and the sequence of events leading up to the crash.

Separately, in Irbit, Sverdlovsk region, an incident was reported where a police officer, seated in the passenger seat of a Lada Priora, responded aggressively to a man who commented on the car’s window tint. The officer allegedly assaulted the man during the exchange.
