The second season of the series has already premiered on the Okko platform, with the first episode also available to viewers on VKontakte and Rutube as early as November this year. The TV project, titled “Sanya, gas! A New Turn,” received support from the Internet Development Institute, continuing the collaboration that began with the first season filmed in 2021, “Sanya, gasp!”.
In this fresh installment, Sanya stands up to the biased treatment from colleagues and clients who underestimate the capabilities of the female lead. She asserts herself as a decisive leader, guiding her team toward shared victories and stronger outcomes. The arc centers on a new wave of confidence and responsibility that reshapes workplace dynamics and project results.
A subtle, hopeful romantic thread runs through the plot as well. While the character repairs vehicles, he discovers a pathway to healing strained relationships, offering a human counterpoint to the series’ professional challenges. The tension between professional duties and personal bonds adds warmth to the narrative, enriching the character’s development and the overall tone of the season.
The ensemble cast for the new season features prominent names such as Vlada Ermolaeva, known for “Girls with Makarov,” Andrei Fedortsov of “Brother” and “Deadly Force,” Miroslava Karpovich from “Daddy’s Daughters” and “Plus One,” Mikhail Bogdasarov known for “Naughty” and “Major Grom: The Plague Doctor,” Irina Temicheva of “Kitchen” and “Sweet Life,” Ivan Solovyov recognized from “Split” and “The Stars Will Show Me the Way,” along with Nikita Parshin and Sergey Komarov, who have graced audiences in “Molodezhka” and “Difficult Teens.” The supporting cast also includes Valery Afanasiev, known for “Kalashnikov” and “Ivanov-Ivanov,” among others, bringing depth and familiarity to the new chapters.
The production was brought to life by the film company Skazka, with the continued support of ANO IRI, in collaboration with the Producer Center Youth Initiatives and the Bashkortostan studio named after A. Abdrazakov. This partnership ensures a polished presentation that resonates with fans of contemporary Russian television while also appealing to a broader audience in North America.
The new season unfolds across six episodes, each running about 30 minutes. The compact format keeps the momentum high, delivering quick, engaging installments that advance character arcs and storylines without overextending the plot. Fans can expect sharp dialogue, escalating professional stakes, and moments of personal revelation that deepen the connection to Sanya and the world around her.
