Inspectors reveal that during the exam, the future driver relied on audio gear designed to relay information from behind the scenes. The device successfully completed the task, enabling the candidate to pass the exam without difficulty. Yet the evidence of this behind-the-scenes tool did not go unnoticed by personnel from the MREO, who later identified the apparatus in use.
The possession and use of such a device triggered the initiation of a formal proceeding. The young man was charged with illegally obtaining specialized technical equipment intended for secretly acquiring information. This action was treated as a criminal offense under current law.
The court ultimately found the defendant guilty. An attempt to circumvent the examination system concluded with a fine of 40,000 rubles.
