A Revda driver reported an incident involving an aggressive pedestrian who allegedly attacked him after not using the turn signal while maneuvering. The incident was shared with E1.RU for coverage, illustrating how a routine traffic moment escalated into a confrontation on a city street.
According to Elena, who was behind the wheel, she attempted a lane change and then heard a pedestrian approach the vehicle with aggressive words. She described the moment as follows: he shouted through the window, accusing her of poor driving and questioning why she did not activate the turn signals during the maneuver. Elena paused to ask why the exchange had turned hostile, and she recalls hearing insults in response before she decided to proceed, thinking the matter had reached a temporary resolution.
Moments later, after continuing for about 100 meters, Elena observed the same pedestrian running toward the car, vocally asserting that he would disrupt all signals and continue to challenge her driving. When Elena slowed down again, the man allegedly attacked her. She stated that the confrontation left visible injuries, including bruises on her legs and a torn fingernail, and caused damage to the vehicle’s headlight during the scuffle.
Elena mentioned that she had been providing eyelash extension services and, as a result of the injuries, could not work for several days. Through the course of the affair, she learned the aggressor’s identity and reached out to his spouse in an attempt to resolve the matter amicably. Nevertheless, she was advised to involve the district police, and the authorities are now handling the dispute while the other party has filed a formal statement.
The report references a prior incident in which traffic police in the Saratov region nearly restrained a driver during an arrest, highlighting how tensions from road encounters can quickly escalate into formal actions and ongoing investigations.
