An incident in the Karmaskala district left a high-profile woman injured, according to Mash Batash. The events unfolded as a Mercedes-Benz, driven by Tatyana Mironova, headed toward Salavat along the snow-blanketed Ufa-Orenburg highway. Near the village of Karmaskaly, the vehicle lost traction and overturned, slamming into a fence after a skid on the slick surface.
Moments after the Mercedes went off course, a KamAZ truck carrying metal collided with the same vehicle. The driver witnessed emergency crews arriving at the scene but could not slow his own progress in time and struck Mironova’s car as the responders worked to stabilize the situation.
Medical teams reported serious injuries for Mironova, including a dislocated hip and damage to both the kidney and spleen. She underwent surgery and received care at Cumhuriyet Clinical Hospital, where medical staff continued treatment and monitoring after the initial operations.
Earlier reports noted that, near Saratov, another incident involved a driver who managed to escape a vehicle before it was struck by a passing train. The full sequence of events in that case is under investigation as authorities collect statements and review traffic camera footage.
