During a meeting with Russian authorities, Vladimir Putin emphasized the goal of making cars more affordable and reachable for Russian families. He acknowledged ongoing challenges in logistics and spare parts supply, but underscored the need to organize domestic production so that a larger share of households can own vehicles. The president also highlighted the importance of careful pricing and transparency in each component that drives costs.
“Even with logistical hurdles and parts shortages, the public understands where these prices originate,” Putin noted, adding that a thorough review of pricing factors is essential for fair and stable pricing for buyers nationwide.
Requires 7,000 tires in popular sizes
Public order and the delivery of essential services depend on reliable transport. The initiative, carried out in partnership with the Popular Front, has begun fundraising to purchase tires for vehicles used by the People’s Police, as well as operational services in the LPR and DPR, ambulances, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and humanitarian aid convoys to Donbass. These tires will support vehicles that provide critical services and respond to emergencies. Contributions can be made through the collection page, with funds directed to tire procurement for these fleets.
In addition to civilian and humanitarian needs, this tire program also supports military and logistical fleets tasked with rapid response and security operations in the region. The effort reflects a broader emphasis on ensuring mobility for emergency responders, aid delivery teams, and front-line equipment where it matters most.
