The Popular Front movement successfully halted the planned purchase of luxury vehicles by state enterprises and municipal agencies for the 2022 budget. A note announcing this decision appeared on the movement’s official Telegram account.

“We have fought against this issue since 2013. It seemed officials, under public pressure, had already renounced such extravagance. The fact that these purchases resurfaced during the NWO period is not a loophole in law, but a failure of ethics,” stated Dmitry Boldyrev, a representative of the National Front in the Orenburg region.

According to the source, 200 million rubles were not spent on luxury cars. Allegedly, buyers who could not deny themselves expensive vehicles were listed as “pencils” on the official documents.

“In total, similar requests amounting to 450 million rubles were found on the public procurement website,” the report indicates.

Requires 7,000 tires in popular sizes

Without properly equipped tires, public orders cannot be fulfilled, and essential services cannot reach those in need.

“Behind the wheel” and the Popular Front have started a fundraising effort to supply tires for the vehicles used by the People’s Police and operational services of the LPR and DPR. The donations will also support ambulances, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and vehicles delivering humanitarian aid to Donbass residents, as well as military equipment. Contributions can be made through the collection page.
