To date, it is planned to allocate substantial sums for next year to support the car market: 5.1 billion rubles for the preferential car loan program, 2 billion rubles for preferential leasing, and 2.7 billion rubles for a program subsidizing gas engine equipment. This targeted funding aims to ease access to vehicles, stimulate manufacturing activity, and promote diversified powertrain options for consumers.
Looking back at 2022, the government directed 20.7 billion rubles toward programs designed to boost demand for Russian-made cars. Those allocations reflect a broader strategy to strengthen domestic industry resilience, support automakers, and align consumer incentives with national industrial goals.
