A resident of Krasnoyarsk, Sergey Polev, who arranged a flight with a Skoda car on a bridge in St. Petersburg, collected his vehicle from the depot and signaled readiness for new high-speed demonstrations, according to a Telegram channel run by Kras Mash.
Polev said he spent six months in a pre-trial detention center because of the incident. Afterward, the driver took back a damaged Skoda Octavia from the depot, had it repaired, and declared his openness to more races, even mentioning plans to buy another car. In a message on his Telegram channel, he stated that the street racer would showcase the car in a forthcoming video that would stir controversy.
The incident, which drew widespread attention, involved a daredevil flight at 150 km/h on the Upper Swan Bridge in October 2021. The car used the bridge as a launch point, and during the jump, its wheels left the ground.
