In Perm, a heavy dump truck struck a woman at a designated pedestrian crossing and drove on, passing over the area without the vehicle’s wheels making contact with her. The incident has been shared by a Telegram channel identified as Perm No. 1, which is circulating a video recording of what happened.
According to initial information, the crash unfolded on Karpinsky Street. Early reports suggest the victim escaped the scene in a state of fear or confusion after the impact. In the released footage, the woman can be seen waiting to cross at a pedestrian crosswalk as the traffic light turns green. Yet the truck operator continued moving, leaving the pedestrian motionless beneath the vehicle for a moment before any action was taken.
The truck came to a stop only after another motorist honked to alert the driver. Bystanders at the scene helped lift the injured person onto her feet and escorted her away from traffic to a safer area near the roadside. At this stage, there has been no official statement about potential accountability or responsibility for the dump truck driver.
Earlier, traffic police in Stavropol reported detaining a different transport operator, identified as the driver of a self-propelled bus station. This related development is separate from the Perm incident and is part of ongoing local traffic enforcement activities.
