The Russian debut of a crossover from a new Chinese brand showcased a model named Omoda C5, marketed as a fastback crossover. An online presentation to the Russian audience was hosted by TV host Evgeny Pokrovsky and Olympic figure skating champion Anna Shcherbakova. During the event, the price points and configuration packages for the Omoda C5 were announced.
In Russia, the C5 is offered with a single powertrain option: a 1.5T turbocharged engine delivering 147 horsepower, paired with a CVT25 automatic transmission. The drive is front wheel only. Acceleration to 100 km/h is claimed at 9.9 seconds, top speed 195 km/h, and fuel consumption on AI-92 gasoline is rated at 7.1 liters per 100 kilometers in combined driving. Buyers will have access to 13 exterior colors and three trim levels.
