According to CE Auto, the local partner, Moldova’s new-car market grew by 16.2 percent year over year in October, reaching 596 registrations. Year to date, registrations rose by 33.8 percent to 5,404. The Kia Sportage continues its run at the top spot, just edging ahead with a remarkable 211.1 percent surge, maintaining the No. 1 position and securing the second place for the year to date tally. The Toyota RAV4 climbs 38.7 percent, and the Dacia Duster advances 26.9 percent, both holding onto strong podium positions from September. The Suzuki SX4 S-Cross rises to fourth place and joins the year-to-date Top 10, while it pushes the Renault Kadjar down by five positions to fifth, and nudges the Dacia Logan down by one to sixth.
The Haval Jolion earned its debut in Moldova’s top 10 at eighth place, signaling growing interest in crossover options. Meanwhile, the Toyota Camry rounds out the top ten on the October list, showcasing continued demand for traditional sedan configurations among certain buyers.
